in 2024, I was awarded the Nancy Luton Education Fund and used the grant to take a two-day photogravure workshop at Flatbed Press in Austin, TX. I created several plates using my photo archive of trains and played around with playful color palettes while printing. I was interested in disrupting boundaries between gender, image, and color, using heavy machinery as my subject and in my process.
